AirIndex is operated by Vertical Data Group, LLC. Revenue supports the data, systems, and analysis, but customers and partners do not control AirIndex methods, scores, corrections, or published conclusions.
The same evidence standard applies whether the subject is a customer, a partner, a prospective customer, or an organization with no relationship to AirIndex.
1. Commercial responsibilities
Commercial work includes defining the decision to be supported, agreeing scope and delivery format, licensing data, managing access, and administering customer or partner relationships. Commercial discussions may identify missing evidence or useful analytical questions. They do not determine the answer.
2. Analytical responsibilities
Analytical work includes source selection, evidence weighting, identifier resolution, methodology design, classification, score calculation, corrections, editorial judgment, and publication. Those decisions follow the applicable published methodology and audit record.
3. Prohibited influence
- No paid placement in scores, tiers, rankings, watchlists, or research findings.
- No customer-specific change to a published methodology unless the engagement is explicitly labeled as a separate scenario or custom analysis.
- No suppression or delay of a material correction to protect a commercial relationship.
- No promise of favorable coverage, score movement, or investment conclusion.
- No undisclosed sponsor control over research language or conclusions.
4. Commissioned work and factual review
Commissioned or sponsored work is labeled. A client may review its own non-public information and identify factual errors before delivery or publication. AirIndex retains final control over evidence treatment, methodology application, conclusions, corrections, and disclosure language.
5. Partnerships and external review
A partnership does not imply endorsement or preferential analytical treatment. External specialists may challenge assumptions or verify technical interpretation, but AirIndex retains authorship and responsibility for every published method and conclusion. Reviewer identities remain confidential unless a separate, explicit publication agreement authorizes attribution.
