§ Cryptographic verification · Open access · No authentication

Verify any AirIndex identifier.

Every aix:* identifier is hashed into a daily Merkle batch, signed by DigiCert's RFC 3161 Time Stamp Authority, and anchored to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. The proof requires no authentication and no trust in AirIndex — you verify against the public chain.

How the proof is constructed

Three steps. Independently verifiable at each.

Step 1
Daily Merkle batch

Every immutable-audit row from the previous 24 hours is hashed into a single Merkle root by the 06:00 UTC anchor cron.

Step 2
RFC 3161 timestamp

The Merkle root is signed by DigiCert's RFC 3161 Time Stamp Authority — a third-party witness with no commercial relationship to AirIndex.

Step 3
Bitcoin anchor

The same root is submitted to OpenTimestamps and confirmed on the Bitcoin block chain within ~24 hours. The anchor is permanent.
